Chapter 09 · Treatment & Daily Care
Tips to Remember Your Medication
Small habits and reminders that make taking your meds part of your everyday routine.
Taking medication regularly and staying in open communication with your medical team can help reduce how much Crohn’s affects daily life.
Easy ways to stay on track
Use a pill box
It helps you keep track of whether you’ve taken your medication and how many you have left.
Keep your meds in sight
If your meds are stored in a cupboard you don’t open daily, it’s easy to forget. Place them somewhere you see every day.
Set a phone alarm
A daily alarm at the same time can turn taking meds into an automatic habit.
Use sticky notes
A note on your bathroom mirror or next to your desk is a friendly little reminder.

Talk to your team. If you ever feel like your medication isn’t working well or it’s hard to remember, let your doctor or gastroenterologist know — there’s almost always a way to make things easier.
