Ways to Remember Your Asthma Medication
Taking asthma medication regularly is important, but with a busy school and social life, it can be challenging to remember each dose.
- Keep your medication in sight: Storing inhalers or other medication in a cupboard that you don’t use daily, can make it easier to forget. Place your medication in a visible location that you access regularly.
- Set an alarm on your phone
- Use sticky notes: Place reminders on your bathroom mirror or next to your desk.
- Label your medication: If it’s hard to tell the difference between short-relief and long-relief medication, label each clearly.
- Include medication in your daily routine: For medication you take every day, pair it with a regular activity, such brushing your teeth in the morning or evening.
